Hi Johan, on the Italian list for SDR a similar question was posed, and I had the opportunity in answering to use all the worst words I could think off, starting from those of Middle Age up to today... :-)
Well, when you use your own language you can finely calibrate the tone of your writing, so that the recipient of the message doesn't get offended, and can understand that you are writing tongue in check. My knowledge of the English language is not so good to allow me to do the same here, but you get the idea... More seriously, I _refuse_ to switch to Vista. I will continue to use XP as long as it will be possible. When it won't be anymore, the solution is simple : Linux ! I have already installed it on my dual boot PC and I am taking confidence with it. So, to answer to your question, I don't know. Probably, as you have already noticed, there will be problems with the sound card drivers. I read rumors that ASIO is not supported in Vista, as it could potentially allow somebody to copy, heaven forbids, some sacred pieces of copyrighted music, and the Majors will then be upset, a thing that Billy the Kid wants to avoid... ok, it is their business. I _will_not_ use Vista here. I am sorry if the users of Winrad will be affected by that, but it is a firm decision on my side. Maybe somebody who has already tried to run Winrad under Vista (with positive or negative results) can comment here ? 73 Alberto I2PHD --------------------------------------- Johan H.
