We're actually in the process of spec'ing a wireless ptp link to connect two of our remote buildings together. Our current plan is to use Bridgewave AR60X radios (http://www.bridgewave.com/). These are 60Ghz unlicensed radios with a max range up to about a mile providing a gigabit ethernet link. One of the cool things about the AR radios is that they are adaptive rate (hence the AR). So, in times of heavy rainfall, they'll autofallback to 100Mbps in order to keep the link up and stable. They're not cheap at ~$20K for a pair, but we've haven't had the best luck with our only FSO installation so far (presumably due to shoddy installation work).

We are currently using a pair of Cisco 1300 wireless bridges to connect some student residences to the campus network. While these bridges have worked well we now need something which is capable of a higher speed connection without using multiple links. The current distance between the two antennas is about 300 feet. I was wondering what products others have used and how they performed.
