We've seen the same driver issues with Atheros chipsets and with Macs
with our Cisco a/b/g wireless network.

I second this opinion, for any WLAN- especially those running 802.1x.

Another issue that I forgot to mention, with Xirrus make sure your users

have the most current drivers for their wireless NICs. I have seen a lot

of issues with outdated drivers not working well with Xirrus arrays,
updating fixes it. Atheros chipsets seem to have the most issues,
followed closely by Macs.
