At the risk of stating the obvious... Regardless of which vendor you go with- make sure you pay just as much attention to the effectiveness of a given vendor's central management strategy if you expect a deployment of any size and complexity. It's easy to get wowed by data rates, etc, but the day-to-day operations are where these systems earn their keep or drive you mad.
It can be difficult to get a sense of effectiveness (for YOUR needs) on the management systems until you truly scale- that's when a lot of the flaws and bugs show up. This is where real-world feedback is quite valuable from those who are comparable in size and deployment to whatever you think you'll be. -Lee Lee H.
