Does anyone know if ATT has any relatively "quick & dirty" solutions to filling in cellular coverage holes (like inside a building)? I'm thinking of something that might leverage either the private campus wired or wireless network to somehow fill these coverage gaps- similar to Verizon's "Femtocell" product or T-Mobile's UMA, but for ATT.

Thanks in advance,

B.J., et. al,

I've heard anecdotally that AT&T has a femtocell product/solution in the works. I should point out, however, that such devices aren't necessarily "quick & dirty," as they require (at least in the case of the Samsung product marketed by VZW) GPS reception for E911 geolocation and time base. As such, the same phenomenon that attenuates the cellular coverage (e.g. below ground, "heavy" building construction, etc.) also blocks the GPS reception, so you're right back to where you started.
