Wondering if anyone else sees this condition in a Cisco LWAPP/CAPWAP wireless environment:
We seem to have occasional spates where select APs are clearly beaconing SSIDs, but clients cannot connect. Sometimes it's a single AP, sometimes its many APs on a given controller (never multiple APs on different controllers that I can recall). Our fix is to reboot APs or move APs to other controller, instantly cures the issue. The impacted APs will be fine for weeks on end, then just abruptly cease functioning, except for the SSIDs being in plain sight. Affected clients are all OS types and versions- all similar condition- see the SSID, but no connect. I'm not faulting our system at this point, just curious if anyone else has seen similar. (It is not a matter of MIC protection timer, fwiw) Thanks- Lee Lee H.
