We use PAT here for our web-portal SSID, with a pair of CIsco ASAs equipped with a modest range of public addresses doing the PAT at the border. The RFC1918 addressed devices use their private addresses to communicate internally and pass through the NAT to get out. We keep RADIUS accounting, syslog, and netflow data to handle tracing things. We are still doing globally unique IPv4 on the WPA2-Enterprise net, but wireless can certainly exert a lot of pressure on your public addressing. -- Andrew D.
