Hi Jeff, Agreed on client stuff, but not on rebooting APs and code downloads that hang. Its just too much in line with Cisco's long bug train a' running... Would be different if this wasnt premium equipment.

Lee, You can't test for every scenario. With the diverse client base of EDU, I suspect we run up against many fringe-cases that are impossible to duplicate (or test for) in a lab. Can you imagine how this sort of bug makes it into prod code? Or the one where 1400 APs reboot once a day? We had to downgrade from 7.4 to 7.3 due to our 1142 APs crashing. We had the patched engineering release that was supposed to fix this, but apparently there were multiple 1142 issues. The bug that we were hitting has yet to be patched. Our hopes in going to 7.4 was to use a single HA only controller in a "pool" with our production controllers. Apparently this feature was implemented in 7.4. Has anyone been able to use this? We did not get to test it due to the downgrade.
