Not exclusive to iOS, have seen it on MacOS as well but so far not on a Windows machine. I don't know of an uninstall feature on the CAT tool, but to remove profiles we either manually go into MacOS Profiles section/iOS profiles section and delete the profile, or we also have scripts we can run to pull things out.
