Hi Jauder,

Where in San Mateo are you? Did you call AT&T broadband to find out if they
provide cable modem service or did you just use the website?

The reason I ask is because I moved to San Mateo about 2 weeks ago and I
checked the www.attbi.com website where it told me they don't provide cable
modem service, but when I called to get T.V. cable service I just happend to
ask the lady on the phone if I could get cable modem, and it turns out I
could actually get it (contrary to the website). I get a steady 1.5 Mbps
down and 224 Kbps up. Not bad.

I hope this is helpful, I do have a wireless router (SMC7400AWBR), but I
don't have any external antenna's or such.

Take Care,
Tariq Ali.
