I noticed that there were some discussions on this topic before. Anyway, according to Orinoco's client manager and netstumbler, it's connected and it better be since they are less that a few inches apart, so I know it's something wrong with the network config.
I have the WAP11 set to AP mode. The thing is, every now and then, W2k reports that it lost the network connection (the infamous "network cable unplugged" message) and I can't seen to ping it when I disconnect the WAP11 from the LAN, though the Orinoco should be able to. Not to mention that the speeds cycles thru 11Mb to 1Mb. And the client manager's link test fails (no connection) and is usually greyed out. Is there an inheritent incompatibility between the two?
