Hi,

This is a longish description of the problem I am
facing, but I have tried to cover all cases for
clarity.

I have a Cisco 350 Series PCMCIA card the works well
at work with Cisco access points, and also with
Linksys BEFW11S4-version-1 broadband router/WAP.

Linksys BEFW11S4-version-2 with Cisco 350 PCMCIA Card
------------------------------------------------------
But, when I try to use it with Linksys BEFW11S4-ver2,
router this is what I see:
- The notebook PC (onto which the Cisco 350 PCMCIA
card is plugged on) get the correct DHCP address from
the router.
- The DHCP clients table on the router shows the MAC
address of the Cisco 350 card
- The laptop *does not* get a ping response from the
router, or any other machine on the network.
- Other machines on the network (connected to the
router through the ethernet ports) do not see the
laptop on the network.
- In summary, besides getting the correct DHCP
address, the notebook is not able to communicate on
the network.

[When used with a BEFW11S4-ver-1, everything works
correctly.]

Linksys BEFW11S4-ver-2 with other PCMCIA cards
-----------------------------------------------
Also, when I replace the Cisco 350 Card with either a
Cisco 340 Card, or a Linksys Card, everything works
fine, with either version-1 or version-2 Linksys
router.

I am trying to find out if this is a known problem
with BEFW11S4-version-2, or if it could be that my box
has a hardware problem. I have also tried upgrading to
the latest firmware for version-2, without any
success.

I would really appreciate any help in this issue.

thanks
-PD
