I was using the Canopy equipment last night.

If you follow the very simple instructions, it is a breeze to get them up
and running.

The hardware is clearly designed to be installed outside as the casings are
sealed and the 24v PoE enables one single Cat5e to be run into the customers
premises.

The retail cost for the CPE side is a not unreasonable $515.

I will be running some range tests in a PTP configuration later this week.

Considering the cost of commercial bridging equipment, Canopy makes itself a
high candidate for linking two buildings together securely using a pair of
CP radio's mated to the backhaul antenna dishes.

Cheers Nigel

That sounds like a good choice to me, actually.

I'd love to hear from someone who's tried these in an urban/dense
suburban environment.
