We have three needs:
(1) Someone who is tech savvy who can volunteer the
time to set up wireless connectivity for our computers
(currently we plan to use Mac notebooks, but PC
notebooks would also be okay). Currently, we need this
for locations in San Francisco, but would like to
eventually be able to take the show elsewhere. We have
a Sprint PCS account that can be used, but it will get
very expensive very fast, so other wireless options
are also needed.
Suggestion 1:
Find some hot spots before you have your demonstration and have your
demonstration in that area.
(2) Someone who can repair Apple PowerBooks -- we have
two computers that are broken, and standard repair
shops would charge more than the cost of replacing
them
Suggestion 2:
Throw the Macintoys away and look to a computer recycler to donate several
IBM 233 mhz laptops.
(3) Sources for obtaining additional donated or
inexpensive portable computers (Mac preferred)

IMHO If you are comitted to Peace, this is good, I was against the Vietnam
war, this one with Iraq is about getting a US owned Gas station in the
Middle east.
For those Interested in reducing the US dependance on Oil, try to drive
something getting better than 17 MPG from your house to the Grocery store.
