Humm.

First I was going to suggest that your signal at the AP point was below the
receive threshold of the AP.  I've seen this before where I can sniff
packets but cannot associate because my transmitted data is not ever received
at the AP side.  A broken receive pre-amp in the amp could cause this.

However I've also seen this exact same problem when the SSID is specified
(and usually wrong) in FBSD.  Simply removing the SSID and setting it to
a blank field fixed the problem because the AP beaconed it's SSID.

Just some advice to try out.  I'd start with the SSID field and move on to
the amps next.  If this fails I'd be suspicious of the AP.

I'm curious to find out what this is so keep us posted.
