Maybe I am telling you something you already know, but it is a rare
access point that supports a wireless distribution. That is, it is a
rare one that relays messages from AP to AP to AP until either it reaches
some wireless client, or it enters a wire distribution. Even with Agere
access points costing $500 or more, you have to buy a different firmware
than the usual to achieve a wireless distribution.

Vendors use imprecise language to describe their access points.
Purposefully or not, they make it appear that they support a wireless
distribution. After a close read, though, it is usually quite clear that
no inexpensive access point comes with this feature.
