Of course I didn't read his original mail. I just started answering blindly. :-) Who actually reads the original message? That's sort of like reading a manual or looking at a map BEFORE you get lost, and who does that? :^)
Seriously, I didn't read that before I started spouting off, but I'd think some of the same advice would hold true nonetheless. Signals are waveforms and two different waves arriving to the radio a two different times can have their peaks and troughs can amplify each other or they can cancel each other out. These other signals can be naturally reflected by buildings or hills, but they can also be picked up by multiple antennas connected to the same radio. I'm guessing that this would be more trouble than it's worth - but it could theoretically work well if everything was perfect. :o) - Todd Chamberlain ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Vannest" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 3:56 PM Subject: RE: re [BAWUG] Wiring yagis together > > did you read the guys mail or did i get it wrong. > > > > he is pointing in different directions with the antennas! > > Yes, my original intention was to point 2 yagis at two points ~60 > degrees from each other. > > Jeff > > > -- > general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> > [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless > -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
