whoa....we're talking about WAP11's?
if that's the case then by nature they have a high tendency to fail so yea, anything can make a "working" wap11 go on the fritz.


If the warranty on your WAP11's have expired, you might think about taking it apart and adding heatsinks (active or passive) to the chipset.
Of course, modding the case so a 80mm fan will fit might work too (I'm sure you can find a 5V fan or a 12V fan that'll run [slow and quiet] at 5V at a surplus store).
