Anyone have quantities of WAP11 v2.6 available? I just received 10 WAP11 v2.8 and may need to sell them on ebay or elsewhere cuz the chipset won't work with our firmware (although they work great as normal AP's or AP Clients with other WAP11's).
I could use at least 3 WAP11 v2.6's immediately, prefer new, but used might work at a few locations for us. If anyone has them, let me know what price you might be able to sell them for. If you might be interested in a straight across trade of v2.8 for v2.6, drop me a note. I also just got a bunch of RP-TNC connectors in so I can make up pigtails for them if you need them. I think I'll test the WAP11 v2.8's tonight on 6 and 12 mile shots and if they work well, then I may just keep what we have and deploy a v2.8 PTMP microcell instead of sticking with true 802.11b clients. Anyone used the WAP11 v2.8 at any long distance shots such as 5-10 miles? What AP's were you connecting to?
