Try the for mentioned senao/engenius PC card with external connectors and an
MMCX pigtail to some kind of directional antenna, like a patch.  I'm not
sure they work in Macs but this works great on PCs.  The alternative of
opening up and making an external antenna connector in the case it not a
recommended approach since it a) voids the warranty and b) looks crappy.
