how about just putting another ethernet card to hook up the access
point.  then you can firewall it so it can only go to outside world.  if
fancy, maybe set it so it can use available bandwidth that you aren't
using, but if you use network, wireless gets the crumbs only.

i suppose if you were very paranoid you could make wireless NAT to a
certain port range, and your internal to a different range...
