Ugg. I was trying to figure out where SPAM'rs were picking up my very private email address from and did a search for my email address in Google. I was disappointed to find that the html archives of the BAWUG list are indexed in Google and often contain email addresses (usually from quoted replies)
ex. http://lists.bawug.org/pipermail/wireless/2004-January/014091.html Unfortunately pipermail doesn't cleanse posts of email addresses like mail-archive.com does. At the very least can the wwwadmin create a robots.txt with the following in it: User-agent: * Disallow: /pipermail/ -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
