I've been a big fan of Aironet gear, even the older non-Wifi equipment. I need to replace an old Aironet bridge BR-2000 link. I'm also looking for alternatives to Cisco Aironet WGB-350 workgroup bridges.
I see the Senao / Engenius NL-2611 CB3 Client Bridge. It claims 200 mW but I'm guessing it's not Cisco quality on the receiver side. Can anyone confirm whether this NL-2611 will act as a bridge when connecting to other WiFi access points such as the Cisco AP-350? Or does it require a Senao AP? How many MAC addresses will it pass? I see from the docs that it can link directly as a bridge to another NL-2611. When comparing even eight-year-old Aironet bridges with today's WET-11, for example, the older bridges were superior in terms of latency across the link. - John _______________________________________________ BAWUG's general wireless chat mailing list [unsubscribe] http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
