Well, alot of the mindsets seem similar. Reminds me of a fellow I knew of (lets 
call him "Scotty"), about 1982.... seems some folks had placed a 1 
watt "jammer" on his CB channel, and he was very upset. So upset that he 
repeatedly contacted the FCC... eventually the FCC found the jammer (a cast off 
CB rig, hooked to a homemade noise generator, on top of a 200 foot building... 
or so I am told... ) and they disabled it. 

To the dismay of the "Scotty", the perps that placed the jammer where never 
caught but he was cited for operating on illegal CB channels, since the FCC was 
in the area.

Moral of the story is, be careful what you ask for (or brag about on a public e-
mail list), you just might get it.

Bottom line for me, for anyone with any amount of competence, there is little 
to no reason to exceed the spirit of the Part 15 ERP rules.
