Joe, that's really cool. I didn't know. I must congratulate you
for all that. That is, indeed, very, very cool. I can see that
the Hams will still be there in the event of nuclear war but I
didn't know you had maintained such operational capabilities during
all that. I'm amazed that CNN doesn't do a "Wanna know something
that's really cool?" piece on what happened that got them back
into things so quickly.

The next time I'm in New Orleans I'd love to buy you a beer...or
whatever.

Jonathan, I could have had the Mayor downloading his e-mail with a 45 meg
link in about 20 min if they would have given me access back in the city. I
have always had un limited B/W beaming from a 30 story roof a few blocks
from City Hall as well as many other pops. . All my clients that run on
generator stayed up and running throughout all of the mess with the
exception of a backhaul antenna that got blown off a roof in new orleans
east. . I blame it on the city for not having the proper redundancy in place
but thats just my opinion. You can ask Embassy Suites, Holiday inn select
and all my other clients. They all had communications. When I did finally
sneek in I got CNN and many others data and voip that they desperatly
needed. Well, the whole crew is staying if there is a next time so just give
me a shout down the street and Ill get that E-Mail going for the Mayor . Joe
