Hello Blake, The Broadband program was very loose in the beginning. If it had "proper" regulations ( none of the LEC related RUS rules included the Broadband program) behind it, most of the equipment WISP's use would not have been approved. I know what we got funded is not on any approved lists from RUS.
We were audited early on in the pilot program and it really showed how out of sync the RUS auditors were to what the program allowed. I know they really only want to deal with LEC's and their methodical way of doing stuff. Oh we passed our audit too. The current program has much tougher rules to comply by.
