We have had similar issues but we had about a dozen of them break and still counting. The asked me if we would prefer wooden spool within the box. I told them yes. Something a bit stronger. I don't know about other ISP's, but I know I've been caught in a quick summer rain storm and a heavy snow fall and the boxes get wet. I need to have something a bit more reliable in the future. Other than the current spool/box setup. I've had no complaints about Shireen cable.
