Actually Michael, it does not counter your field result. I worked at Alvarion for ten years, including launching the radio you are testing with so I know more than a little about it, but poster's comment. The poster was referencing self-install indoor modem, but you are testing with an outdoor CPE. You will not get likely 1/4 mile with a self-install CPE in 3.65 GHz from Alvarion (even if it sold one) and it has nothing to do with MIMO or beamforming. It has everything to do with power -- at least when Alvarion first tried to certify the indoor modem the FCC still considered it a mobile device, thus subject to the greatly reduced power of a mobile device in 3.65 relative to a fixed outdoor CPE.
