Bingo...we have a winner! Middle mile means sqaut when there is a single provider who know they've got you by the you-know-what in terms of pricing. Then there is the finger pointing you have to deal with when there is a problem...funny...for some reason's it's never their problem initially until you prove within a shadow of a doubt it is!
We build our own wireless middle mile and that actually helps us with cost control because we are responsible for the links, also we find that customers like the fact that we have zero reliance on any ILEC.
