Depending on how many units are on each floor... You might be able to save some $ if you install POE powered Switches on each of the floors, thus concentrating / reducing the number of UPS's required.
You could do a Passive POE powered from a couple of of the Telco Closets (using Mikrotik for example) Or you can do 802.3af active powered .... (SLM2008 ...)
