I am interested in what to use for all the VPN endpoints and what
wireless and cable hardware is the best.

Yeah, proxim & Cisco I hear you.
I have heard that a lot of VPN technology (primarily M.S.) does not do
well with NAT addressing too.  I have stayed away from that in our
little corporate environ also.
