Hi All,
I am running Exchange 5.5 on port 25 in relay lockdown mode and as a result
WiTango can't send mail to outside addresses without authentication. To get
around this, I set up another SMTP server on port 26 as well as a different
DNS to point to. It even has its own IP address. I figured that changing
the MAILPORT and MAILSERVER in the t4server.ini and applications.ini files
to reflect the changes would direct the mail action to the correct server,
but for some reason, it still insists on using port 25. Restarting the
server did nothing. Is it possible that WiTango server, upon finding that
there is a mail server on port 25, simply stops there and looks no further??
Any insight to this would be most appreciated.
