Jake,

This sounds very odd...

I was going to say that you must have one of the Authentication options
turned on in {Site} | Properties | Directory Security | Anonymous... Edit.
If you'd turned off Anonymous and enabled either of the Authentication
options, this is the behaviour I'd expect to see.

However, you say that certain files in the same folder can be served up with
no authentication..?

As I said... Odd.

Jon

Subject: Witango-Talk: Problem with IIS installation

Hi,

I've recently done a T4 installation on Windows 2000 and whenever I call a
taf file Im asked to log into the machine via a Windows login dialog. Does
anyone know offhand why this could be? There is an enabled IIS guest account
and all of the extensions for t4iis.dll are setup correctly. Files from the
same directory that are .htm seem to work just fine too

Thanks in advance for any advice.

- Jake
