Is there a username and password stored in the ODBC/DSN definition? In some ODBC packages you can store the User/Pass in the dsn def.
I have this under Sybase and unchecked the "Ask each time" under development tab of the Witango Data Source Properties (right click on ODBC DSN and select properties) Ben Johansen - http://www.pcforge.com Authorized Witango Reseller http://www.pcforge.com/WitangoGoodies.htm Latest downloads & List Archives @ http://www.witango.ws -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:owner-witango-talk@;witango.com] On Behalf Of run run Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 11:49 AM To: Multiple recipients of list witango-talk Subject: Witango-Talk: Witango Dev Studio 5.0 ?? Hi List, I have Witango Dev Studio 5.0 and I just started using it.. I have a challenge opening up my odbc/dsn connection to database.. I deleted them and re-created them a number of times.. It prompts me for username and password which I did not create.. I usually just cancel and it will connect, only this time it needs my username and password.. I have tried all possible database passwords and it's still not able to connect.. what are other options I can try? Thanks, Tabi __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Y!
