Of course you should maintain version for version usage. That's the
'supported' scenario. However, it is true that as long as you do not use
any W5 specific tags, such as @EMAIL, @MAKEPATH, etc. or any new W5
attributes in old tags, such as the recently dicussed NULLTOKENS= in
@TOKENIZE, then files created in the 5 editor will work on the 4 server.
Note: the 5 editor will default to the "request" scope, which will be
created as a custom scope on a 4 server, and will likely create some
rather unexpected results.
PS. W5 runs T2K apps just fine and is much more stable then T2K. I
suggest that you don't hold off.
