hey, i read in my javascript book when you do the window.open you might have
to set dependant to yes. In other words:
window.open("mysite.com",SomeWindow,"dependant=yes")
it says dependant was added in javascript 1.2 and opens it as a true child
window of the parent window. When the parent window is closed, so is the
child window. You might try this to see if the user reference doesnt change
when its set to be dependant.
