i was thinking when i tested this that even when you passed the userref to
the popup that it would give a new number cause i was looking at the last
couple digits from the title bar of the popup and the last couple digits of
the URL line on the parent window. Turned out the title bar got truncated
:P
so yeah...disregard my dependant post as a solution to the problem at hand
