It must have been a corruption in the taf because if I create a new one and
try the same action it is fine. Still a little scary because it was a brand
new taf I had created that day not a 4.5 one converted.

I'll try it in that taf with a newly created search action to see if that
fixes it.

Glad to know it is not more pervasive issue ( no pun intended).
