OK, I'm going to be doing some bulk emailing via Tango (Tango 2000 on W2K IIS5). I'll be using a FOR loop to work through a Search resultset, with a Mail action in the loop to send emails with data from the database search.
I know that there's a problem with losing emails if too many are sent. Can anyone give me a "safe" number, so that I can run these in batches? Alternatively, I've tried setting up Tango to write text files into the SMTP queue (as discussed on the list). I'd rather do that than have to run multiple batches, but I'm having problems. These are Word documents saved as HTML (yuck!) - they work fine if I cut&paste the HTML into the Mail action, but if I cut&paste it into a text file and mail that, everything is double-spaced. Any suggestions for that? [OT] Can anyone tell me how to identify an ActiveX control in a Word HTML document? I get an ActiveX warning message on my test emails, but I can't figure out what's causing it. [/OT] Many thanks, as always! jamileh ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: Go to http://www.witango.com/maillist.taf
