First
thing first you FIRE the DBA, (any DBA worth his salt know that changing
the name of a DSN is not good practice). Then set the name back
;-)
if
this is not an option.
then
you are going to have to go through every TAF/TCF and change the
reference.
you
can do this with a text editor or a GREP (global replace and
edit)
You
might want to give the DBA a call

This is going to sound stupid, but how do you
change the DSN in Witango? I can't find any kind of Witango control
panel or admin tool. And, Witango doesn't show up in the Programs
list. How do I get to a screen that lets me reset the DSN?

Question
Dear
John
Did you change the
datasource again in witango. It send location and db name when you set it,
so you may have to reset that.
Sincerely

Question
We are moving our SQL2000 db to
a new Win2K box. Our db admin restored the db to the new box and
changed the DSN on our web server to the new server name. Even after
restarting the web server, it still points to the old db. Is there
something we have to do in Witango?
