Yeah, this was a bad choice of words, Sorry ;-) Changing the machine name would only have effect if the ODBC definition uses it within the DSN
Like Scott said if you make a change to the DSN definition you need to restart the Witango service. If you can connect with Dev Studio then look at the DSN def. under odbc on you workstation and then go to the server and change the DSN def. under odbc on the server to match.
