Hi John, If I read this thread correctly, from the bottom up, I think you are saying just the Server reference in the DSN configuration was changed - correct?
If your DBA changed/modified the SQL Server client for ODBC (to point to a different Server) - then you need to restart the Witango "Service" because the ODBC DSN info is typically cached by Witango and either a re- start of the Service or a complete re-boot of the machine is required. Just re-starting IIS isn't enough. This is all assuming the "DNS" Services on your local network is working correctly and the new box can be reached (with the expected name) from the Witango Server.
