Phil and Sophie are on a plane to the states at the moment; but hopefully someone from support will chime in. I suspect that it will connect just fine via JDBC on OS X, but haven't had a chance to test it. If I do over the next day or so I'll let you know. I've been through setting up JDBC access to Filemaker with a few different setups now and it's not that bad once you have the steps down. Check the other recent posts about OS X and JDBC for more info...

I found conflicting info on the web sit as to it being able to be used as a data source, data source via ODBC/JDBC, or data source at all.
Looks like they have a new file format as well.

I'm curious if FMP7 is equivalent of MS Access or something better now.
If better, can the single user version play as a witango back end without the constraints of the previous version?
