Hey
Gang:
Does
anyone know of a command-line ftp utility that supports passive mode and can automatically run a text file
(containing ftp commands) after it starts
up? We're looking to
automatically ftp a file from one server
to another.
We do
know of an FTP commandline client (ftp.exe) that ships with Windows but it
does not support passive mode (however, it can automatically run the text file after startup via the -s
option though).
Some command line FTP links of interest
are:
1) describes the windows ftp.exe (including the -s option)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/default.asp?url="">
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/default.asp?url="">
2) indicates that windows ftp.exe does not support passive mode
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;271078

Thanks in advance
....
Ian
