May I piggyback onto this. The example below from Paul Storey showed how distinct domains could share domain scope variables. Is it possible to assign default domain scope variables within domains.ini, similar to assigning server scope variables in witango.ini and app scope variables in applications.ini?
Here's a particular question: The default witango.ini sets: USERKEY=<@USERREFERENCE> Could I set up my domains.ini: [Domains] ABC=ABC Database [ABC] 1=abc 2=abc.dbc.ddd.gov 3=155.155.123.123 USERKEY=abc_shared_user_key This would have the effect of causing all users of these three domains to have the same value for <@USERREFERENCE>. If user tracking was subsequently needed, users could subsequently be given a unique cookie. >Whether or not a user maintains user scoped variables is 100% dependant >on the passing of a valid _userreference. The domains.ini file can only >solve the problem of setting a domain scoped variable at domain #1 (say >www.website.com <http://www.website.com/> ) and have it also apply to >domain #2 (say www.mywebsite.com <http://www.mywebsite.com/> ).
