Dan,

Going to SQL should not be too big of a task, but it depends on how they
wrote the ASP code to connect to the Access database.  There are a few
different connection types and methods that could have been used, and they
may all need to be changed to connect real database, or if they used the ADO
connectors, is should be an easy task to change.

I am looking for a confirmation of something to check on the skill level of
a company I may be working with.

They have a content management tool built in Access. It uses ASP. We want
them to migrate it to SQL 2000 or MySQL.

My understanding was that if the table structures were the same this would
not be a complex task. They are saying it will take a lot of programming
time.

Who's right?
