Hi Steve,

I've done Moneris integration a number of times for Canadian customers. And
like you said, it's harder to get a Merchant account here for sure, eh. But
it's not impossible.

I have found that the Moneris service is very solid and fairly reasonable.

I have a complete sample TAF for Moneris (ParaData gateway) around here
somewhere, if you want it. Let me know.

As for PayPal, I have a PayPal Business account and find the rates not to
painful. I recently got the O'Reilly book PAYPAL HACKS which is very good.
Might be worth getting.
