Hi, I don't know if there has been much change in the standard action since the new tags came out (With will have to field that).
I have over run the base email action with in a loop where witango simply ran out of sessions. This is why With spent a bunch of effort creating the new tags. It seems that if the timing is wrong for whatever reason between and it is usually the mail action not waiting for the mail servers handshake, then the sessions is locked. I do know that the new tags are very robust and when I was running the list archive when I first had to populate it, I ran 1400 through without any issues Let me know if you need help with the tags ;-) Ben Johansen - http://www.pcforge.com Authorized Witango & MDaemon Reseller Available for Web App. Developement -----Original Message----- From: Dave Machin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 8:32 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Witango-Talk: Mail Action Locks Up Server That's interesting - I didn't realize that the tags worked differently than the action. Is this still true in new newer version? As far as I can tell there isn't excessive traffic at the time - the one I saw happen happened when things were pretty quiet. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ben Johansen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 23, 2005 2:27 PM Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: Mail Action Locks Up Server > Hi, > > Is there a lot of other traffic on your mail server from other sources? > > Have you tried using the @EMAIL and @EMAILSESSION tag instead of the base > Mail action.
