Their are a few places. You should have like 2 configuration folders, one in dreamweaver app folder, the other in a user folder, like application support. There is a file in there extensions.txt you must modify. Also, there are modifications in the DocumentTypes folder.

I think that is it, but in both places. Its been a while since I used DW, but I do have CS3, and tmls work like html because of those mods.
