Jason:
I did try to do the Custom Errors for the 500 in the IIS to link to a
file (C:\windows\......\500.htm). For some reason it didn't work on
the http 500 error when I execute a .taf file, or other WiTango file
i.e. .tcf, .tml.
But, in the same place, I customized the 400.htm file and it works
for non Witango file. Like if I execute a file say, test.xyz, it
displayed my "Page not found" custom error.
The http 500 error seems to come from somewhere else and I could
figure out where. Any idea?
Thanks!

With the 500 error, that is from the web server itself, so you could
set it then to return the same error page you created and listed in
the clients.ini file. That way it would be consistent for any event
where the Witango server doesn't answer the client. I know that it's
very easy in IIS to edit the error pages returned for various
errors, and is equally possible with Apache.

Hi Christian:
Thanks for the tip.
It works to an extent only if one remains in the same .taf session
when the Witango services got shutdwon.
If one tries execute another .taf file at that time or a new
session, it will display the HTTP 500 error instead (with your
suggested settings)
Anything else I could try?
Thanks!

Yes,
In your clients.ini file you have control over the page displayed.
ERROR_HTML=C:\\Program
Files\\WitangoServer\\5.5\\MiscFiles\\clienterror.html
REPORTCLIENTERROR=FALSE
SENDFULLHEADER=FALSE
The ERROR_HTML vallue can point to any file that will be served up to the
client. REPORTCLIENTERROR must be set to false.

Christian
